So-called “satisfying” videos which show effects of cleaning of parts of rooms or whole apartments are soothing pictures that take the internet by storm!
Apart from the disappearing dirt, it’s detergents that are an important element, or maybe even an actor playing one of the most important roles.
The role of cleaning products is, obviously, to be effective and give the captivating “after” effect. They also have to be nice, interestingly and practically packaged, and suit the video’s convention.
The scenario of “reels” is simple – the place is dirty, a right product or their combination is used, then the place is scrubbed, washed, it’s beautiful, clean and the smell can almost be felt through the telephone screen!

Why wouldn’t your product become the hero of reels?
Maybe product placement in such videos is an idea for brand promotion? Putting the detergent in the capable hands of a cleaning fan who has plenty of viewers, or recording such videos and publishing them on the brand's channels, would be ideal promotion. Cooperation with influencers takes part at various levels, and online creators are classified as low- or high-reach ones. Opening them doesn’t only attract the eye, but also the ear. The expected soothing sound of the packaging opened is a separate chapter of films which relax the sense of hearing.

Is it strange?
No, it’s another stage of getting to know the human brain. Videos with sound or without it which give great satisfaction are based on ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) – a pleasing tingling sensation in the area of the head, neck and other parts of the human body. Those sensations can be triggered by visual, aural, tactile and olfactory external stimuli.
The human brain is a very interesting organ, and online content creators, sometimes unintentionally, take advantage of the latest neurological knowledge in order to keep their followers.
Is cleaning and beautifully packaged detergents an element of the neurological game?
Maybe!
If, therefore, we start to understand its rules, maybe we should start to add or change elements in our products, and create heroes that no one dreamed about out of them!
